XCode may be coming to the iPhone and iPad very soon

    yes, that should make life a lot easier to release our Codea apps on the App Store. But will need the exported frameworks to work (hint, hint @Simeon !)

  • I saw @Simeon replied to this topic, and thought he might touch on the rumor of XCode coming to the iPad. I don’t know enough about this type of ‘leaked’ info to know if its trustworthy.

    But hey, good news on the export capabilities update!

    The app found in the code is called “Xcode”, so it’s possibly just an app that let’s Xcode users preview their apps on an actual device.

    I sure do hope it’s the full Xcode experience, though. Codea is awesome for game dev, but I would love to do some native app development, and I don’t want to have to buy a Mac.
